Crystal Cruises have added the new travel destination of Tripoli, Libya to their 16 November “Italian Splendour” Mediterranean cruise. Libya is a mixture of cultures, both past and present.Libya has been closed to American tourists since the US imposed sanctions on the country almost 20 years ago, but now is lifting its ban on tourist visas.

The 11 day cruise begins in Venice with a stay overnight and ends with an overnight in Barcelona. This voyage also visits Dubrovnik, Sicily, Naples, Rome – Civitavecchia and Livorno to savour the many delights of Florence and Tuscany.
