Luxury Cruising Leader Unveils Major Fleet Milestones: Seven Seas Prestige Floats Out, Mariner Transformed
As the luxury travel industry anticipates the dawning of 2026, Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, purveyor of The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet®, has announced a series of significant milestones and fleet enhancements that promise to redefine the all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruising experience.
Next Generation of Luxury Takes Shape
The most momentous news comes from the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, where Seven Seas Prestige™ achieved a pivotal construction landmark. On 27th November, the highly anticipated new ship successfully completed its float out from the dry dock.
Scheduled for launch in December 2026, Seven Seas Prestige marks the first new ship class from Regent in a decade. The vessel is touted as the next evolution in luxury cruising, combining meticulous craftsmanship with unprecedented comfort. The traditional float out ceremony was observed with a Champagne blessing, ribbon cutting, and the subsequent flooding of the dock.

Seven Seas Mariner Emerges with Multi-Million Dollar Transformation
Adding to the excitement, the Seven Seas Mariner® has recently completed a multi-million-dollar dry dock, emerging “transformed,” according to the company. The refurbishment includes refreshed suite accommodations, revitalized public areas, and an enhanced Pool Grill that now features a new pizzeria concept for casual alfresco dining. See more.
The key highlight of the Mariner‘s transformation is the launch of the Epicurean Enrichment Studio. This state-of-the-art culinary theatre, created by Chef Kathryn Kelly, is designed to connect guests to global destinations through flavour, history, and storytelling. This innovative experience debuts just in time for the ship’s 2026 World Cruise and is also slated to be introduced aboard Seven Seas Voyager® in June 2026 following its own dry dock.

Society Cocktail Event Refined for Exclusivity
In a move described as a “thoughtful change” in its continuous Pursuit of Perfection, Regent is adjusting the attendance requirements for its Seven Seas Society Top Tier Cocktail Event.
Citing the challenge of maintaining the event’s intended experience due to increasing attendance, Regent has announced that, from 1 January 2026, the event will become exclusive to guests holding Platinum status and higher. However, the company reassures all Seven Seas Society members that they will continue to be celebrated at the exclusive Seven Seas Society Party with officers and crew.
Expanded Global Offerings on the Horizon
Looking ahead, the cruise line teased forthcoming announcements, including the “very soon” reveal of Seven Seas Navigator’s® brand-new season, which will be available for booking shortly thereafter.
Furthermore, beginning 22 December, guests will be able to reserve an expanded Concierge Collection of pre-cruise stays in partnership with Global Hotel Alliance. This curated portfolio of 3-night hotel stays now includes prestigious properties across Asia Pacific and the Indian Ocean, in addition to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
