More to Love – Regent Seven Seas Cruises® Announces Fourth Prestige-Class Ship
We are thrilled to share that the future of Unrivaled Space at Sea™ is growing. Regent Seven Seas Cruises has officially confirmed the order of a fourth vessel in our groundbreaking new Prestige-Class series.
The new ship will be constructed by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, a long-standing partner responsible for multiple vessels across the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings portfolio.

The future of luxury just got brighter
The order forms part of a broader initiative by parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings to add new tonnage across its three brands – Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises – extending its shipbuilding pipeline well into the next decade.
Industry reports indicate the trio of newbuild agreements will see the ships delivered between 2036 and 2037, underscoring a measured, long-range growth strategy rather than rapid capacity expansion.
Company leadership says the additional orders are designed to secure shipyard capacity and maintain steady development through 2037 while supporting sustained growth.
A new standard of elegance – The Prestige-Class
The Prestige-Class represents Regent’s first new ship class in a decade, following the success of its Explorer-Class vessels.
The inaugural ship, Seven Seas Prestige, is scheduled for delivery in late 2026, with sister ships planned for 2030 and 2033 before the newly announced fourth vessel joins the fleet later in the decade.
Designed to elevate the line’s hallmark “all-inclusive luxury” model, the ships are approximately 77,000 gross tons and will carry about 822 guests, prioritising spacious accommodations and high crew-to-guest ratios rather than maximising passenger capacity.
- Refined Design: Thoughtfully curated interiors that balance modern innovation with timeless comfort.
- Sustainable Innovation: Advanced technology focused on a greener future for the oceans explored.
- The All-Inclusive Promise: Everything from gourmet specialty dining and premium spirits to unlimited shore excursions remains included, delivered with the personalised service you’ve come to expect.

Strengthening a long-standing shipbuilding partnership
Fincantieri executives described the latest order as a continuation of a collaboration built on multiple successful projects, emphasising innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship in next-generation vessels.
With four Prestige-Class ships now confirmed, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is positioning itself for sustained expansion in the ultra-luxury market through the 2030s, balancing exclusivity and scale while capitalising on renewed global interest in experiential, high-end travel at sea.
