SeaDream Guest Safety Protocols
Are you ready for your return to the sea? We look forward to having you join us on the yachts in the coming months.
As we navigate these unique times during the pandemic, we continue to work diligently with medical experts and local authorities to establish procedures that will provide the best possible solutions for guest safety.
Please review the SeaDream protocols as well as the mandates that local entities compel us to follow.
We encourage you to consult with the appropriate authorities governing COVID-19 policy in your country and that of your destination before departing on your SeaDream journey.
ALL PROTOCOLS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
Before Your Voyage
All SeaDream guests 18 years of age and older are required to be fully vaccinated with all COVID-19 vaccine doses administered at least 14 days before sailing.
Guests under 18 are not required to be vaccinated.
To maintain safety protocols, we will limit the number of unvaccinated guests under the age of 18.
Please contact your travel professional, or call the reservations department to inquire of remaining availability for unvaccinated minors.
Embarkation
Prior to embarkation, you will need to provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
Guests will be administered a COVID-19 antigen test immediately before embarkation and again while on the voyage.
We will provide you a comfortable place to await the results (approximately 30 minutes). Once we receive a negative test result, you will be welcomed aboard to enjoy your SeaDream experience.
During the Voyage
All guests maintain proper social distancing during the voyage.
Masks will be required when social distancing is not possible.
Masks will not be required while swimming, relaxing on our decks, or while actively eating and drinking.
In most ports, guests are allowed to go ashore independently. In some ports, guests will be required to engage in a “bubble” tour program, which involves going ashore in an organized, yacht-sponsored program.
Dining
We look forward to serving you our award-winning food while you are onboard.
We have designed the main dining room seating with proper distancing in mind and have opened up additional space on deck to provide safe dining options.
The buffets will be open, with crew members serving all guests.
Cleaning
The crew is employing the most stringent of cleaning procedures using advanced cleaning tools.
We will disinfect high-traffic areas continually throughout the day.
Our crew will disinfect tenders after each use.
We have ultraviolet lights and electrostatic misters deployed to ensure cleanliness and guest safety.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers COVID-related travel disruptions.
Please check with the countries on your itinerary to see if they require travel insurance to cover COVID-related costs.
Medication
We encourage all guests to pack an additional 14 days of any necessary medication if there is an unforeseen travel delay.
Crew
All SeaDream officers and crew will be fully vaccinated by the time we resume operations.
The crew has also undergone extensive training on cleaning and protocol programs provided by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Disembarkation
If a guest requires a negative PCR certificate for re-entry into their home country, SeaDream can provide one at the cost of $110 per test.
Please note that SeaDream is not an accredited lab, and we cannot offer RT-PCR tests.
THESE PROTOCOLS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
Please note that protocols continue to evolve, and we will revise these at the direction of the involved entities. However, our goal is to reduce the impact of these safety directives on our guests as soon as local government regulations allow us to do so in a safe manner.
