The sun-inspired concept introduces premium court sports, dedicated sunrise and sunset yoga areas, and the fleet’s first digital gaming experience, alongside a luxurious reimagining of the Solara Pool Deck.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises® has revealed details of its all-new Solara Sports Deck and spacious Solara Pool Deck aboard Seven Seas Prestige™. Debuting in December 2026 on board the line’s first new ship class in a decade, these custom-designed spaces will provide a sophisticated oasis of active leisure and relaxation above the waves.

Designed in partnership with SMC Architects, the Solara Sports Deck marks Regent’s first-ever named sports deck. Perched on deck 14 at the very top of the vessel, the venue brings an upscale energy to the outdoor amenities. Guests can enjoy a competition-sized padel and pickleball court with endless ocean views, and an expansive 18-hole putting green. The space also introduces two brand firsts: a dedicated sunrise and sunset yoga area, and a digital gaming system featuring side-by-side Conductr Supercharged Shuffleboard units.

“Seven Seas Prestige will raise the bar for the ultra-luxury travel experience, and the Solara Sports Deck is a testament to how we are rethinking every inch of our new ship class,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our guests value a seamless blend of active wellness and refined leisure. By partnering with world-class architects, we’ve created a sleek outdoor environment that is as beautiful as it is functional, allowing our guests to unwind or play against the backdrop of the world’s most iconic horizons.”

The Solara Sports Deck replaces standard sports netting with polished wood framing, architectural panelling, lush integrated planters, and dedicated relaxation areas, ensuring the space serves as a natural continuation of the ship’s interior aesthetic. As dusk falls, custom LED perimeter lighting subtly illuminates the activity boundaries, transforming the deck into an atmospheric social hub for evening play and stargazing.

At the aft of the ship, a sheltered social pavilion invites guests to gather for casual tournaments at the digital shuffleboard tables, or enjoy relaxed games of mini-bowling, chess, baggo, and covered ping pong, surrounded by plush, custom built-in banquettes. For those seeking additional serenity, the line’s first open-air wellness area will host sunrise and sunset stretching and yoga classes.

Centrally located on deck 12, the Solara Pool Deck serves as a sun-drenched extension of the luxurious interior. Featuring a two-tiered sunbed concept inspired by the successful design structures on the Explorer-Class ships, the space frames a dramatic 48ft x 29ft pool with two accompanying whirlpool spas.

Steps away, guests can enjoy the upscale Solara Pool Grill restaurant, complete with an artisanal pizzeria, and the Solara Pool Bar, which provides premium beverages as part of Regent’s all-inclusive offering. The upper pool deck on deck 14 acts as the direct entryway to two of the ship’s premier speciality dining venues: the pan-Asian favourite, Pacific Rim, and Azure, a brand-new speciality restaurant debuting authentic mezze-style Mediterranean cuisine.

“When designing Seven Seas Prestige’s Solara Sports Deck and Solara Pool Deck, our goal was to bridge the gap between outdoor fitness and boutique hotel elegance,” said Matt Fyvie at SMC Design. “We utilised premium materials such as high-performance composites and timber-effect resin flooring, complemented by soft luxury furnishings, to create a warm, intimate feel throughout the space. Discreet, refined lighting elements were carefully integrated into the architecture to ensure a seamless transition from day to night.”

The Solara Sports Deck will be open to guests 24 hours a day and will feature curated social tournaments and dedicated wellness classes, launching with Seven Seas Prestige’s maiden voyage in December 2026.
