Having recently sailed on Oceania Cruises’ Allura, we came away thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment we stepped on board, the ship felt elegant and beautifully considered, yet never overly formal or intimidating. Allura combines excellent food, attentive service and first-rate facilities with an intimate, relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the journey at a comfortable pace.
A Culinary Experience to Savour
Dining was a particular highlight and undoubtedly one of the strongest aspects of the cruise. We tried every restaurant and food outlet on board, from the more formal speciality venues to the casual options, and each delivered impressive quality, variety and presentation. Menus offered plenty of choice, ingredients tasted fresh and carefully selected, and the consistency across the ship was exceptional. Given more time, we would gladly have returned to every venue – clear proof that Oceania’s reputation for outstanding cuisine is well deserved.

The service also made the cruise feel special. Crew members were friendly, attentive and professional throughout, often anticipating what guests needed without ever seeming intrusive. Allura offers more than stylish surroundings: she creates a polished, welcoming environment where guests can relax and feel genuinely cared for. The superb spa and well-equipped gym provided excellent options for relaxation and wellbeing, while the shows were polished, varied and thoroughly enjoyable.
