On Our Way to Barbados

Our journey to Barbados has begun! After a successful departure from Oslo, SeaDream I stopped in Rotterdam and Portsmouth. With the last passengers embarked in Portsmouth, we are now making our way to the warm waters of the Caribbean for this Winter Season.

Our guests are enjoying lovely weather, delightful cuisine, and SeaDream’s signature service on a luxurious 21-day voyage across the Atlantic. This historic voyage marks the beginning of our Caribbean Season, where SeaDream sails to some of the most wonderful and memorable ports. With a small ship size, we can access some of the more intimate, less travelled to ports and ensure a memorable, luxury experience. Our West Indies voyages are a great opportunity to experience firsthand the “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising” lifestyle.

SeaDream’s Commitment to You

SeaDream is committed to protecting your health and safety. As the first luxury line to resume sailing, SeaDream has been able to provide a safe and healthy environment without sacrificing the signature SeaDream experience our guests love. We learned many lessons after completing a successful summer season in Norway, thanks to our stringent sanitation procedures, the professionalism of our crew, and the cooperation of our guests.

As we embark on this winter season, we are taking these measures a step further, strengthening our existing protocols to protect our crew, guests, and the communities we visit.

SeaDream’s luxury superyachts were already positioned to offer a safe and healthy experience. With a small ship size, ultra-personalized service, emphasis on cleanliness, and access to more intimate, less travelled ports, SeaDream had a reduced risk built into its operations. We have now invested in equipment, education, and methods that will help further ensure everyone’s safety.

A Historic Voyage

SeaDream has been used to setting “firsts” this year, as the first luxury line to restart operations in June in Norway. As we head to Barbados in this historic journey, we will also become the first line to start sailing in the Caribbean. We are confident we will have another safe and successful sailing season, thanks to our preparedness and the professionalism of our crew. We also want to thank not just our crew but the hard work of everyone at the destinations we visit for making this possible. We work closely with local health and government authorities to ensure the safety of our guests, crew, and the communities we visit.

Among the press coverage we’ve received, there is an interview with guests onboard detailing the boarding process and their experience sailing on this transatlantic voyage. Click on the link below to read the article.

Life Onboard

SeaDream provides a much-needed escape, a chance to disconnect from the world and recharge in a luxurious, safe, and pampering environment.

Our guests are enjoying some of their favourite things about SeaDream, including our iconic Champagne & Caviar Splash, Watersports Marina, Thai-Certified Spa, Balinese Beds, Top of the Yacht Bar, 5-Star Cuisine, Fresh-Squeezed Juices, Sparkling Pool and more. Most of all, be splendidly spoiled by SeaDream’s award-winning service.

SeaDream think it is wrong that guests should take the risk and so they are now taking that obstacle away:

  • For all new bookings only made after July 22, 2020, on voyages that sail prior to June 30, 2021 that are affected by travel restrictions due to Covid-19, we will issue you a full cash refund – or you can get 120% of the amount credited towards a future voyage. You decide.
  • But to take it further: if there are no travel restrictions and you don’t want to travel anyway, you can do so and we will move your funds to a future date.

And best of all, you do not have to decide until the day of departure.
