SeaDream Yacht Club Announces a New Era of Luxury Yachting
Meet SeaDream III – an intimate new yacht created for extraordinary journeys
SeaDream Yacht Club has unveiled SeaDream III, its first new yacht in 25 years, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the world’s most exclusive luxury yachting brands.
Launching in July 2029, SeaDream III will welcome just around 200 guests, offering the rare combination of spacious surroundings, highly personalised service and the relaxed atmosphere of a private yacht.
Designed to feel intimate rather than imposing, SeaDream III will offer elegant accommodation, private balconies across four guest decks and an exceptional crew-to-guest ratio. The emphasis is firmly on understated luxury, freedom and effortless service.

From Japan to the world
SeaDream III will begin her inaugural season in Asia, sailing from Hong Kong to Tokyo and exploring the spectacular islands and coastlines of Japan and South Korea.
Her first two years will take guests on an extraordinary journey across six continents, 73 countries and 364 ports, visiting some of the world’s most captivating and less frequently explored destinations.
From Japan and Southeast Asia to Australia, India, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, SeaDream III has been created for travellers who want to see the world – without sacrificing intimacy or indulgence.
An extraordinary World Voyage
For those seeking the ultimate adventure, SeaDream III will offer a remarkable 180-night World Voyage, departing West Palm Beach in January 2031 and culminating in London six months later.
The journey will span the Panama Canal, South America, the South Pacific, Australia, Asia, India, the Arabian Peninsula and the Mediterranean, creating an unparalleled opportunity to experience the world in a single, seamless voyage.
SeaDream III is more than a new yacht. It is an invitation to experience the world differently – slowly, privately and in exceptional style.
Maiden voyage begins in Asia
SeaDream III will embark on her maiden voyage from Hong Kong on 10 July 2029, sailing through the Ryukyu Islands and along Japan’s Pacific coast before arriving in Tokyo for her official christening on 21 July.
The 10-night inaugural sailing will feature extended stays in Ishigaki and Yakushima, alongside calls in Okinawa, Amami Oshima, Kochi and Shimizu.
Her first season will then focus on Japan and South Korea, with itineraries showcasing destinations including Hakodate, Aomori, Akita, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Kobe and Osaka, as well as Mount Fuji views from Shimizu and Tagonoura.
Guests will also discover Japan’s Inland Sea, Busan and Jeju in South Korea, together with the beautiful islands of Yakushima, Amami Oshima and Ishigaki.
The ultimate world voyage
Perhaps the most remarkable itinerary announced for SeaDream III is her 180-night World Voyage, departing West Palm Beach on 5 January 2031 and arriving in London on 5 July.
The extraordinary journey will cross the Panama Canal before following the Pacific coast of South America and continuing through the South Pacific, with visits to destinations including Easter Island, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji and Vanuatu.
The voyage will then continue through Australia, Indonesia and Southeast Asia before heading west to Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India and the Arabian Peninsula.
Guests will subsequently explore Egypt, Jordan and the Mediterranean before transiting the Suez Canal and sailing through Europe, concluding the adventure in London.
The SeaDream difference
While SeaDream III represents an important new chapter for the company, the focus remains firmly on the qualities that have made SeaDream Yacht Club a favourite among luxury yachting enthusiasts.
Guests can expect the same relaxed, informal approach, exceptional cuisine, attentive service and access to smaller ports and harbours that larger cruise ships simply cannot reach.
The result is a style of travel that places as much emphasis on how you travel as where you go – with more time to explore, linger in port and enjoy the freedom of travelling by yacht.
Reservations for SeaDream III are now open, giving luxury travellers the opportunity to secure their place aboard this exciting new addition to the SeaDream fleet.
