Seabourn Announce New Two Person Suite Servicing teams

The pause in operations has given Seabourn the opportunity to examine its processes and make enhancements to better serve its guests. One area that has changed is in the Seabourn housekeeping department. Beginning this summer when Seabourn returns to service, there will now be a two-person housekeeping team servicing each suite. The team will consist of one Suite Host and one Suite Attendant, replacing the singular Suite Stewardess position.

Seabourn have made the change to provide better service to all guests, as well as to increase diversity, equity and inclusion among team members. As a result, you will meet Suite Hosts and Suite Attendants from all genders and a broad range of nationalities. The new structure will create more career opportunities for our team members and strengthen our culture, but the total number of housekeeping staff on each ship will not change.

The Suite Host will service their assigned suites to the highest Seabourn standards. The Suite Attendant will support the Suite Host with the daily cleaning routine for their assigned suites. This change was designed to be more efficient, as servicing a suite takes less time for a team than for a single individual. Additionally, this new team approach will give our Suite Hosts and Suite Attendants more time to interact with you and get to know your preferences. In addition, this will also give you the opportunity to interact with a more diverse team when you are on board.

More importantly, your housekeeping team will continue to strive to deliver unforgettable Seabourn Moments to ensure you have a most wonderful Seabourn experience.

When you are ready to sail with Seabourn again, your housekeeping team will be greeting you with a glass of Champagne, canapés and a warm smile.
